the must of an empty room slaughtered my naustrals as I opened the door in the tiny building it had to be at least a century old with rising windows dark brown wooden doors flat not-white walls and a hole near the floor that reminded me immediately of dead rats. I wondered if this was the room she spoke of the room she and that scum slept in day after day for the winter of thier pathetic lives wasting away thier youth on each others lust Of coarse it could be any building possible any room but then she had to have been downstairs, because her legs had never worked since she was born. for 300 dollars a month i could have this room this depressing hole of a place only a homeless man could love only a girl and a man running away from home would want it reminded me too much of some sad story and I couldn't bring myself to reside even for a moment so I shut that creaky wooden door with 5 locks attatched 5 reasons to leave that room empty 5 reasons to ask for a raise. How can I stand here and not be moved by you? - Lifehouse |

Ouch. I just moved into a bedroom I'm renting for $300 a month. Somewhat similiar to what you wrote about. Only skip the lame chick and the sex. Just makes me smile how pathetic I feel. You're poetry is really cool. Nice write. -GIS ...and the way things are goin, they're gonna crucify me. -The Beattles |
