I am rateing this poem as mature because it has some content that might not be suitable for those easily offended or upset. =================================================== She came to me with bruised eyes Her heart in her hands Asking to be fixed But I didn't know how I hid her away Hoping she'd be ok Somehow Someway Slowly fixing her broken heart Just to have it break again Her bruises get darker As her eyes dim Her body is battered Her mind Her soul Were raped Her trust is fragile Like a bird made out of glass If the winds to strong It shatters in the grass And no matter how you glue it together It'll never be the same Because it is weaker In the end She quiets when the thoughts intrude Withdrawn into her world There's pain behind a placid face As the death bells chime Tears flood her inner world Yet the outer sees none An angel with her wings torn off A bird that never sings She came to me with bruised eyes Her heart in her hands Asking to be fixed But I didn't know how I hid her away Hoping she'd be ok Somehow Someway As I look at this world and realize that I am the only one to have seen the end of all Good I let the tears out that and ask the world to see them. |

it is real. its me. i tend to just hide myself and hope thins will fix themselves As I look at this world and realize that I am the only one to have seen the end of all Good I let the tears out that and ask the world to see them. |
