the sunlight strips you, slowly, gently, of all masks and shadows. your eyes squint. you shade them with your hand, palm turned up embracing the gentle light. you are ignorant to this beauty. so unaware of this purity this gold angel stretches out his fingertips and slowly traces your eyes your cheeks your hair. your eyes shine with tears and smiles. your heart pumps with fear and uncertainty the light calms you as it watches over you. watching you with patience and honesty. wanting to care for you. You may not be used to his affection and warmth, but baby, you need this. You need his love to light yours. nirvana means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world. |
