This poem actually stems from my past.. Its something i still struggle to deal with... I'm in the car, on the way to your place I know whats coming, thats always the case I have arrived, mom and her friend leave Now the nightmare starts, what tricks do you have up your sleeve. You start laughing as you step closer and closer You grab me and throw me against the sofa I beg you not to, but you're not listening I try to fight you off me, but its not working Its so humiliating, I feel so dirty You took advantage of me, I feel so unworthy Why me, Why was I chosen I'm too young, I'm only ten Minutes seem like hours, hours like days It's so painful, I slip into a daze I need my mommy, when will she be back I hear the car door, she's here at last You hurry off me, run out of sight You tell me to get dressed, and not to tell or you'd hurt me more out of spite I hug mommy, I want to tell her what you did But I know I can't, so I shut my lid I am in the car now, on my way home The nightmare is over, the damage is done Till next time i see you, i'm safe from harm That is if I keep it secret, I just might set off the alarm. |

My oldest sister went through this as well. I am sorry. It seems to come back now and them for her as well. I give my sister the biggest hug when she is having one of them days.....those same hugs go out to you. |
