Wallflower Emboldened by lapping eyes Taken for loves’ ride Broken hearts are made like this A loser though, who never tries Moistened hands touch tangled hair Reach for words to say Solitude no friend of his A tongue to weak to think or care Forced to go from fear to speech Taken for the fool Regret a lover and a muse Far all things lovely, out of reach Pain it seems, is all they teach |
