There sits Alexander, on a golden throne His gilded crown gleams like chrome His cold fierce eyes, faded, alone His grip hath waned, remains all bones The cloth is tatters, upon the crone The flesh is rotten, upon that stone That holds a king of kings That walked on clouds, with devil wings A man of righteous justice Whose hand held a sword of truth And when there fell his reign The throne he stayed, to sit aloof Kingdoms crumbled in throes of death A damned crown, for a forgotten king He watched silently their sorrow bereft A silent hall, for a forgotten king. There he waits for a time, When the age is renewed, When the world is mine. Neither night nor day can give me purchase only purged dust on earth can avenge the worthless. |
