Walk and step past the gallows Right through a fire Dodging bullets And other various flying objects Apparently thrown I crack my skull on the limb of a dead tree That happen to be falling while I walk I can handle it so I keep on walking Where am I going in all this walking Just somewhere else A man I've never seen before Slips out gun drawn, knife in hand, And a chain at the side Give it to me he demands I laugh, keep walking I come across a bike for sale... Keep walking... I don't smile Crap keeps happening I keep walking Until I get to a point where I stop Unhappy and give a smile of pure joy Like a storm siren the place evacuates They take up arms, and I'm under arrest In handcuffs now I start walking to the car Doing the same thing a million times in a row will definitely affect your head. I like this, I like this very much. I like how you keep walking through those brick walls. It must be the molenberg. But seriously, I like how you don't give up, for a while at least. Hollow. Courtney. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World. |

are you steppin' where i've stepped? walking in my shoes? handcuffs are meant to be fun. lol...oh me, i'm writing to craig here so scratch that...lol this was a deep write that further extends the crappy, yet one day humorous to you, life that predicates knowledge through trials. ok, now i'm writing to craig... and i've still got that stupid indention in my head where that god-forsaken limb hit me. of all the things we try to find... it's only love we keep. |

The gallows. Indeed. Superb poem. Indeed! "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm" |

Courtney, thank you. It is aggravating, but what else are you gonna do? Just keep walking, just keep walking. I can hear Dorrie singing. lol. Eve, handcuffs? Handcuffs can be fun, but they can also have a double state of prison effects if say the wrong time and place happens to be the case. And let me guess, scratch the itchy right? lol. Perhaps you should see a doctor and as for the limb I'm sure it would burn well, grrr. lol. Thank you News. What does the CU mean in the part that says where you're from. I bet you're cute Sophie. Thank you witchy chick. I guess we are freaks. And why ride a bike when you can get just as far only a little slower by foot. I should get the bike. lol. Thanks Purity. You rock. -GIS Doing the same thing a million times in a row will definitely affect your head. Read and pratice and read and pratice and read and prati........ead a |

to me this became deeper as it got closer to the end and then I was like, uh! why?? why am I in the dark poetry forum? nobody here is happy! niether am I with what happened in this poem! they can't arrest you! my only real question is, was this an actual event, and was it recent? I'm still a little fuzzy on what it all means. I think I've spent way to much time in school where abstractness is slammed opon to the point where it no longer makes sense to me either. bleh. stupud form peoplez. form, not forum. I mean the teachers. grr. ok, what was I talking about? oh yes, the poem. I like the words. they go together nice. and untill I find my lost abstract thinking cap I have nothing else to say exept don't play with fire, it'll burn you, and bullets hurt. - Bon Bon "Stained by the sun, I can see colors...colors of mercy washing over me." - 3 Minutes From Home |

We say CUNY...short for Columbia University, NY This is still a fantastic work of art, and like, River, I am curious if this is something that has recently happened to you? If so, been there, done that... If not, my oh my we do have a creative imagination, huh? (and very believable) lol "So give life to your dreams, for there lies your survival, and cast your heart beyond those faded scenes, and I'll bring you through the storm" |

Well my life is kinda like this right now, and ironically since I wrote this I have since been put in the back of a police car in transport to church. Not the best of feelings, but oh well. The idea came from the other day at church I smiled at someone and they acted like I was some kind of demonic monster reincarnate. Like maybe they needed protection from me. Isn't God awesome? He is totally cool. And another point of irony is I got punched in the face by a family member since this was written. -GIS Doing the same thing a million times in a row will definitely affect your head. god is awesome and cool, but i'm quite sure he was not amused at your family member punching one of his chosen in the face. not cool. i know it is said "turn the other cheek", craig, but likewise it is asked that we have good stewardship, and i cannot see willfully allowing someone to cause you physical inconveniences being stewardly. hope all is well with you, and let's concentrate on making craig's journey a happy one, and sans punches to the face! lol love ya, freak! of all the things we try to find... it's only love we keep. |

Thanks eve, you're a cool friend. I'm willing to bet it was just a test to see if I'd hit back, and I didn't. And thanks for your free punch. -GIS Doing the same thing a million times in a row will definitely affect your head. Read and pratice and read and pratice and read and prati........ead a |
