In a world that far too often seems so bleak,
Today I climbed the highest mountain's peak ~
Reflection that high is so pristinely clear,
That with each breath of thought comes a smile and tear.

So I pause from darkness for just a moment or two,
and reveal that I'm most thankful for the all that is you.
Your words of inspiration, your encouragement, your love,
I honor today, and thank the good Lord above ~

For having blessed someone like insignificant me,
with your beauty, my friends ~ such a great reason to be...

Thankful!

Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere
