((In advance, I apologize for the shortness and form lacking style of this poem. I wrote it with very little time on my hands when I was bored.)) Stringless puppet, don't be sad The day is bright and new Stringless puppet, it's not that bad I'll sew your strings anew Stringless puppet, smile so sweet Evening's far from gone Stringless puppet, torn and beat I'll sew your strings anew Stringless puppet, resting still The season is now right Stringless puppet, tears so real I'll sew your strings anew Stringless puppet, pulled aside Your arms and legs hang limp Stringless puppet, smiling wide I'll sew your strings anew Stringless puppet, pale face gleaming The morn is almost come Stringless puppet, happy seeming I've sewed your strings anew... It's been a long time since I've been in here, Soul. I'll have to look up some more of your work if this is what you accomplish with "little time on your hands." Well done. "Unto thine own self be true, and it must follow as the night, the day; thou cans't not be false to any man."---Shakespeare |
