In this whirling capsule/ of a darkened room/ someone played the magic flute/ as nickle tunes were sung/ by melanchol-hic monkeys/ slowly picking through/ the hair of humming bees/ In a sticky corner/ honey d-r-i-p-p-e-d/ off lips of puffed buffoons/ flummoxed and a bit pretentious/ in their too big breeches/ and even bigger boots/ Beneath a taut and threadbare/ strand of inky pearls/ a shadow cast/ on a piggy in a wading pool/ who put two fleshy lips together and blew/ kisses to his mirror image/ on the dark side of the moon/ and as he did he bellowed/ out in oinky rage/ You can kiss my ham hocks/ cuz I'm a poet, too!/ |

Alrighty then! The title made me smile. And this poem is a one of the cutest flip of the poetic fingers I''ve seen in awhile. Thanks and grins. Maybe I'll try this writing stuff again... |

Fun read and a very unique, interesting style. Thank you. "Unto thine own self be true, and it must follow as the night, the day; thou cans't not be false to any man."---Shakespeare |
