Across the table from me. I watch your silent tears making a slow route down your face and onto the paper before you. Your heavy sighs drenched with sorrow. Your friend died this morning. I sit watching, feeling so helpless. What can I do? But then my mind selfishly wonders would anyone cry? If I were to die. Would I recieve the same reactions. My heart wishes yes like a strained beat of hope. But my mind tells me no, you're just not the sort of person people would cry over. Instead nonchalant shoulders shall be shrugged. Maybe someone will whisper "Kirsty's gone.." Most wouldn't even Notice. "I cannot stand the way you tease, I love you though you hurt me so"-Marilyn Manson |

i knew these thoughts all too well 2 years ago when one of my best friends from wen i was a kid died.... she was the white to my black and she always helped me through the toughest times..... dont remember the fights you have had, remember the good times, it gets easier after a while, but you never forget them, they are always with you and someone will notice you if your gone.... there will always be someone who notices things like that.... friends, family, secret admirers, they will all notice... ne ways.... this was a beautiful poem in a very dark way andd reminded me of something i need to do in the next couple of days, thankyou... keep the writing coming always remember someone will notice if your gone Ruth live life as if your going to die tomorow....... but love as if your going to live forever...... |

this poem has hit a chord in my heart. I too have wondered if anyone would cry if I died and everytime I have come up with the answer of no. I don't think they would notice. But I also know that it will affect people in some way so I don't worry too much about it. Some one will notice. I would notice if your writing stopped. Your writing means alot to me. Keep going. As I look at this world and realize that I am the only one to have seen the end of all Good I let the tears out that and ask the world to see them. |

Vampiana, what an existence we live in when we believe our last bout of silence will be all that is left of our existence. This was beautiful poem and it hurts to read that so many people feel as I do when I rest my head atop my pillow at night. Keep dreaming that things will be okay and they will...trust me. im sorry but i cried again when I read this one again. im sorry bot THAT french lesson. i hated reading this, it hurt way too much. I can't believe this is me talking, me thinking these things, i don't recognise myself anymore. amazing poem, really powerful and you got your message across really well. keep going, have faith it will get better. love and empathy darkness nirvana means freedom from pain, suffering and the external world. |

id cry. heaps. this 'thing' that happened has really changed the perspective of high schools around the shore lately... scary for the chicks in my class who knew her.. they were so shocked. makes you think. but i would cry, dont think i wudnt awesome poem put your frustrations into four letter words - incubus |
