its funny, how love goes
you love someone to pieces
love them so much it makes you cry
makes you double over in pain
makes you blind to everything around you
and makes you want to die
and then one day
you can just leave it all behind
because, you don't care anymore
you just don't love anymore

its funny, how love works
you can give your all
make yourself so vulnerable
to everything and everyone
because you love
but for what?
someone to ignore you?
leave you in the shadows
needing and wanting?
because, they never cared

its funny, how love is
loved one way, so much
but the other in return
never even wanted to greet
never wanted to hold their hand
like the other had so many times in her dreams
in my dreams
living on forever
in my dreams

its funny, how YOU work
string me along
for so long
making me think i've got the slightest chance
slightest chance of love
but then you leave me to find something else
while you do too
but its funny, who you choose
someone you only just meet
and leave the girl
who loved you so much
for so long
to watch and wait
for anything

i don't care anymore
i don't love you like i used to
i have no feelings for you at all
but oh the irony, i think
when i see you with her
she just comes along and everythings on
and it just makes me think
i was never worth it
you never gave me a chance
you never wanted me like you want her
oh the irony
when love turns around and bites you on the back

There's this saying that I love and it really goes with this. I'd like to share it with you: "No guy is worth your tears; and when you find one that is, he won't make you cry."
