The heartened cries,
Apathic sighs
The dead glazed look in all
Their eyes.
This is the youth
Of today
They are all
One in the same.
Some try to hide
Under caked glossy make up,
Pretty pink clothes, giggly voices,
But reveal their bare faces
They're stained like the rest.
The fake lit up smiles,
Aren't fooling anyone.
And when they go home,
Locked up in their room,
Their heartened cries,
Apathic sighs
That dead glazed look
In their eyes.
Simply echo
Each others.

Can anyone save

Y,
Dead?

Damn, this was good!
I was never really necessarily into Cobain, but because I was dating someone who was working on an upcoming movie about him, I've learned a lot, and wow... would he have loved to have sung this.
Vamp~you out did yourself.

Wings bruised from turning away in such confined space...Not broken...still healable...still feathered with life, somewhere

thanks for all your positive feedback..i know Soph, i wish i was into Cobain when he was around, i wish i wasn't only 4 years old then!

oh yeah..i'm changing my name..is "kurst" i like that. Cuz its like KURT with an "S"! MWAHAHA..oh the brilliance..yeah.

ok, vamp. i'm gonna let you in on a little secret. i happen to be very, very close to the actor playing kurt in "the last days". i know that he has become quite schitzo in his life, taking the roles a bit too sreiously. i do belive that kurt would have applauded you for this one. and i also thing you will freak when you see the flick, for there is something remarkably "deja vu'" in one scene that will make you feel proud.
this was a very scary feeling.
but a good poem.
