(AN: My poems To My Lili Marlene and Broken Heart best explain my situation. I'm a ROTC student so hence the military references)

Pliable

I turn myself over to military authority.
Mold me how you see fit for me to be.
Make me the ideal soldier, the right fighting man.
Because to be that, it's all I can.

Completely unworthy of love.
Despite entreaties to God above.
I give of myself completely to be reformed.
Into the right fighting man, surgery performed.

My heart hurts with love for my Lili Marlene.
But she loves another, and I sit in pain.
Drills, forced marches, physical training.
Airborne school, running while its raining.

Put me through it, I don't care!
For my soul is eroded and lain bare.
Transform and mold me as the military desires.
I'm tired of these internal painful fires.

I'm sorry Lili Marlene, this is what I must do.
In order to provide happiness to you.
Give myself over to the service and do its work.
For in the darkness, forever I must lurk.

You'll always have a special place in my heart.
Despite loss having torn me apart.
I'm a lost romantic, and the military is the cure.
I'm unworthy of you, so true and pure.

Mold me how the service sees fit.
I'll bear it all, I've got the grit.
Nothing they do can be worse than what hurts me.
In fact the pain may set me free.

I'm sorry my beloved Lili Marlene.
If my decision causes you any pain.
Know I do it so you can sleep well.
Whilst I burn in combative hell.

Of course you did right, you won't have a lot of time to think of your woe's and Lilli might miss you. Maggie

So sorry to hear of this hurtful place you are in in life. Tears for you.

Here's hoping things get better for you. These words really shows the heart cry to her.

this is another excellent poem....... i wish i had somone that loved me this much....

keep these poems comin....

i know wat bein in the military can b like.... it didnt help meforget any feelings i have but that is just me....
