Crying children formed from shrapnel Pain walks the street in uniform Life exploding into uncertainty Laughter cut short from these unseen threats Hate strapped to an unknown chest Neither side in the right when death is the answer Lives torn away from this earth Suffering becomes a daily routine Genocide is committed in the name of god Dreams shattered like windows in a burning building Children playing amongst the dead bodies Sacrifice and torture for being born Dollar sign flashing in the eyes Willing to trade red gold for black Everyone dieing for paper Leaving the children in a desolate world. Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |

I got to say i'm for the war. If Hitler had been stopped children wouldn't have been burned in the creamatories of the concentration camps. And Saddam was testing biological weapons on his own people. I do wish it would stop to though. I can't see why these people are fighting except for greed at the expense of others. Its not like our guys are trying to control and oppress them. Nice poem. -GIS He has made everything beautiful in its own time. -Ecclesiastes 3:11 |

Thank You littlewing and Thank You green_itchy_stuff. Though the topic of war does bring conversation to a bloom, however I was not discussing the current situations in Iraq. I was actually just writing about war in general. Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. |
