Weak Silence...BEAUTIFUL, GIS...
Normally people wonder why I am so shy and silent. I don't "come out" until I know you well. It is then that I forget what he has taught me about the gift of silence. It's a fatal flaw in me.

Wow, nice ending. He's teaching silence. Beautiful, most people here post the most beautiful dark poems, and yours are exactly that.

Yeah some say its sitting there and not speaking out from behind a lie that hurts. And thats the silence I was talking about, and its so hard to remain silent when stuff is going on.

absolutely. not speaking out from behind a lie is so mundane these days too many people have forgotten what they've said when, and what a real "trip" that is for them sooner or later.

i'll always need a friend, one i can defend.

I think I get it but I'm not sure I do...anyways, I think you should check out a band called Blindside =) http://www.blindside-silence.com this reminds me so much of thier songs...especially the one called...Silence. weeee. otay lata.
