Lying here Too sick to move Struggling to stare at my ceiling Overcome by ache My eyes flutter closed. I give in I let the illness consume me Pulsing blood Surging through my brain Taste of bile Making its way into my mouth Red, sore, scratchy My throat convulses My head throbbing and cloudy Can't function right Maybe thats why breathing is hard My eyes flutter open. Once familiar Now alien The childhood toys of the past Do not seem right So out of place Yet so in place Confusion surges like a flash Into my debilitated body My eyes flutter closed. *i only just managed to write this one, when i had the flu. lol* Tomorrow, is the today we feared yesterday. |

I liked it, but I just wanna say, don't flood the boards Kirst. Your poems are great and amazing and envious but your dominating the boards. Just being honest. Hollow. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World. |

No it's cool, I still read them, but I just don't reply to all. Hollow. I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. - Gary Jules, Mad World. |

Kirsty: I was going to say it is an amazing description of when I was ill and in bed, as well as an anxiety attack . . . you brought me right there |
