What happens when you feel a connection To people you don't even know People that could be thousands Maybe millions of miles away When you dream of being an animal And in that dream others are there All different animals But all heading the same way All going to the same place When you feel a connection You once felt before your life Fell to pieces A connection with everything Natural Not just others with the connection But with Nature herself And the stars Wind Rain Dark Light Everything Do you continue to let the connection deepen Grow Spread Do you continue dreaming a dream Once forgotten Where you were once A black and silver wolf With sleek fur And bright eyes Strong Resiliant And independent But now You are still that wolf Still silver and black But your fur is matted Dusty Dirty Your not so strong anymore In fact you walk with a limp You are weak now And afraid But the others help Show you love Even if it is only a dream Caused by connections In the dream You are all walking on a beach But next to the woods I'm lost Confused Hurt Angry Sad Alone And afraid Very afraid But the dream The connection It's all comforting It is all so familiar And most of all It feels safe But what happens If one of us dies Or someone i know Who I'm not connected too Dies If you make connections They get broken And I dont know If I can handel loosing anything But the even greater question is What happens if I DON'T make the connection Do I fade away Do I loose this feeling of belonging Of safety Love And protection I'm lost Confused Hurt Angry Sad Alone And afraid But I think I know the answer To my questions I'm going to keep the connection Let it grow Deepen Become stronger I will connect with everything And I will continue my fight Because eventually That wolf will be it's same old self On the outside that is But inside It will be wiser stronger And smarter Because it knows Not to take the connection for granted And I do too That wolf is me And I am it And I am growing Everyday And learning what it takes To keep my connection going To keep it strong Natural connection is my choice What about you Do you have what it takes The answer is yes But it is all up to you And you alone To start that connection Ice lost and afraid i am calling out to you light angel. |

sweet! this is a VERY good message,I like the way you wrote this...everything about it flows really good, I also like the repeatitiveness in some spots, I think you restated it at good times in the whole poem...Great job and keep it up! ~*brezee*~ |

I had a dream like that once. It's what stemmed one of my poems. I believe I titled it Please? I thouhgt it was clever because when said out loud you couldn't tell whether it was Please? Or Pleas? Anyway, I'm rambling. My point being I love this, and I have quite the inkling of what this Natural Connection is, and it governs my life. I never wuld have thought to write about it, however. I enjoyed very much. It was peaceful at the start and it made me peaceful. I wouldn't say it was un-peaceful at the end. Just took a different route. I felt like you were saying to me "Close your eyes and think you are there, this wolf....." and it had a great ending. I compliment. Hollow. "Why are my visions so unliving with dreams? And why do I no longer care?" - Stygian |

I have a hard time following others into whatever. Actually I used to be a witch. Something about it that I realized though is an idol whether made of wood or stone set halfway on or off of something will tip and fall. And as far as I'm concerned those who worship it might as well consider themselves fallen. And the same way with trees and grass and anything else in nature. What happens when you cut a tree down? It falls. So since we, as in people; are in total dominance over this stuff why do you want to worship it. Before I didn't think so, but now it feels a bit foolish to do so. -GIS No turning back, this time, no walking away -Kutless |

very spiritual, feeling connected to nature and animals. i too feel that way, and see things. let your spiritual side go and see where it takes you. dont let chaos or pain interfer, learn to detatch from them. your very strong, very spiritul. i can feel it |
