Paradise The bird of paradise flies the wood It is a bird not understood Paradise does not fly bye It is within the watchers eye For some in death is stays the head In truth it is the sense we wed It is a thing on wonders wing A sum that all the senses bring It is the mortar in the mist The pestle swirling in insist It is the wrap of a cocoon To some, the wailing of a loon Paradise, illusions face A shawl of Chantilly lace A damper on a fires burn The butter made within a churn It is a hand without a glove It is the lullaby of love. |

it is also the significance and part of our whole being...that paradise you speak of...I visited paradise twice...and realized, it had been there all the time...just took sometime getting home. Smiles and hugs to a wonderful poet. Thank you thank you thank you for your wisdom. |
