In Buddhist religion where the Haiku was writen the most...(It is actualy one of THE oldest forms of poetry, going back to early Hindu writing)there are no hard fast rules. If your just going to be critical for the sake of being critical....... Goldenrose. I was not being critical at all, thank you very much... I was mearly stating a view that I personafied upon, where as the dominance of haiku poetry was written from the Japanese (whether it be of buddhism or not), and I was personafing the 575 haiku 'rule'... Ok? |

Obscurity.... Well excuse me all over the place...OK!!!!....you are just splitting hairs....the Buddhist books i read say there is ABSOLUTELY NO reason to stick to the supposed rules...if it comes from the heart then it is a worthy Haiku..no matter how you write it...funny how you do not slag off other poets who write Haiku's..mmm ..i wonder why?....OK?...
