Ok people this is my first time posting! I'm going to give this poem to this girl I like on Friday. Please tell me what you think!

You are probably reading this while you sit
Listening to somebody, and eating a cheez-it
I should’ve given this to you back in high school
I was just too scared, and now I realize I was a fool
I just didn’t know what to write
It plagued me, I was up night after night
But now my mind is free and clear
To express my feelings, I have no fear
I first met you in drama class
We worked together, and would finish fast
Then we went to Theology class, oh what a bore!
We learned about sexual integrity, and why not to be a whore
Finally in May, we graduated together
I thought I would never see you again, ever!
Weeks went by, and it was time for the first day of college
I went to study, and maybe gain some knowledge
I was kind of dreading going back to school
I would’ve rather gone swimming, or shoot some pool
But then I walked into English class, and there you were
Beautiful, just like in high school, I thought I was dreaming for sure!
The days have come and gone so quickly
And now I realize, ever so sickly
That time is running out
Now I must tell you what I’m all about
I’d rather come out and say what I need to say
Instead of waiting another hellish day
You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met
There is no one better, I’m willing to place a bet
You brown eyes are soulful and caring
Your sense of humor is witty, and daring
You are a wonderful actress, I’m not being funny
You could give Catherine Bell from J.A.G., a run for her money!
I have never seen you play baseball, but I don’t need to inquire
You can hit more home runs than Mark McGuire
Whenever I’m having a bad and stressful day
I just think of your bright, warm smile, and the pain goes away
I know that I’m boring, shy, and that I don’t talk a lot
But there are tons of other great qualities that I got
This poem has been a long time coming
But now, I finally have the courage to ask you something
All I’m asking for is one little chance
To go out on a date, maybe we can go to a dance
We could go o the movies, or even to a play
We could even take a walk in the park, and won’t have to pay
You might not want to be friends after this
We won’t wait for each other and talk, that I will miss
The time I have spent with you has been cool
But if I had not said this, I would be a fool
So, I will ask you this, and I’ll let you be
Would you like to go out with me?
