As cock crows the morning alive and the icy grip of winter knaws at my bones,my love glows warm, like newly baked bread. Lingering, low lying snow carpets the world in crystal whiteness, i allow it to enter me, my heart, my body, my head. Only it can tear me away from thoughts of you. Snowflake magic,swirling, smothering me and the world i live in, destract me briefly to forget you, but only briefly. You are my early blooming snowdrop, rising gently in the radiant morning sun. You fill up my heart, like the delicate beauty of snowdrops, completely. |
