Looking back on all the events that have happened throughout the years I remember with a smile both the laughter and the tears. The good times and the bad times--I have not one regret All things happen for a reason, no one's proven me wrong yet. Some people come into your life and you don't want them to leave They always will stay with you, if you just believe. Like an angel by your side, they stay within your heart So no matter how far away you go, you're never far apart. I'm sorry there were bad things--there was a lot I didn't see I guess that nothing's perfect and that nothing will ever be. Tomorrow is a new day with the rising of the sun The world will continue to turn, 'cause that's how things are done. I'll always be there for you, though you may not want me to be But that is something that won't change, just because that's me. You guys are all so sweet, I don't mind at all if you keep it! It was really nice of you guys to ask. that really made me smile!  and passing shadows, your comment meant a lot because I have always tried to be a strong person so I'm glad to hear it showed through in my writing. Ethel, your comment meant a lot too. This poem was for my friend who won't be going to school with us anymore, and I was trying not to cry when I gave him this.
