Drumsticks in hand, searching for a band; crashing cymbals was what she heard. No one else was in tune with the heartbeat she offered. BANG BANG BANG The drum screamed outloud, but the silence of the crowd was too much to bear, so she abandoned her chair, made a hasty retreat, left behind a down beat to vanish in thin air, she skipped outside into the cold night air, going nowhere. |

(big hugggsssssss) An artist just has to find his or her audience is all, and it is alright when one doesn't quite meet some's approval, as long as one appreciates my music I will be happy! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "You'll find something that's enough to keep you |

What this isn't about left over turkey??? Drummers...you got to put them on a leash and take them out for a walk every break. Some seriously sad stuff here,no doubt understood best by the lonely.Especially moved by the line about the silence of the crowd being to much to bear.Who was that smartass that said "goodthings come to those that wait? See you nowhere... Live like it's your last day... |

Now me and my silly humor came to mind when I read the title. You walking around with drumstick(turkey) in hand, maybe talking and shaking it with expressive words. If in a band, do not give up, if not and have a love of music and play the drums keep on playing for your own enjoyment.Heck with what the world thinks. See Ya Love Bon-Bon |

OK, I'll fess up. This isn't about me, but all frustrated creative people who have felt the silence after they've performed their heart out, only to walk away emptyhanded 'cept for that tool that is stuck in their hand (or heart.) As for the drums, my daughter is taking drum lessons. Me? Keyboards and guitar have always been more for me, 'cept the congas and the steel drums. Thanks to each of you. Bon Bon, LOL, I am a vegetarian, so no, it wasn't REAL turkey drumsticks, but I love that visual picture you got! ranting turkeys hmmm, maybe another write? |
