Egg Shells I sit on the edge of darkness and breathe with broken breath how do I tell my heart where it stretched to breaking I am sorry once again which apology will it be that it will no longer believe me some things are far too tender for this world and can not take the crushing how many tears will it take this time to fill each crack and what will fill the hollow inside and stop this echo of loss |
