There are streams of love inside us all, each destined for the heart But dammed by life’s enduring stance, before their flow can start Awaiting times salvation and the rain of joy’s advance The blessing of a saviour true and just one lucky chance The heart awaits a river that does flow with love that’s true But stagnate live so many souls who know not what to do We’re filled with life’s emotions; we feel what hurts to man Blessed at times with joyous thoughts, then live as mortals can But sometimes seeds aren’t blessed to grow, or rivers let to run Sometimes things aren’t meant to be, when all is said and done Are there lives we used to live for which we now repent? Where love has not been granted or a little blessing sent Do we live just on and on until it’s just too late? Do we push love’s patience past it being there to wait? A hundred million questions with all the answers weak So many felt emotions that are asking just to speak A life we’re living here today, a life that's good or bad Trying to be happy everyday although you’re sad Awaiting flow of river and love to fill the heart May we all be happy with another chapters start [This message has been edited by Rick (12-07-2003 05:43 AM).] |
