My littlest Star

I have been in love before..
maybe a time or two.
Yet,nothing prepared me for the love I felt..
the first time I held you.

I had not yet seen your little face..
but you had already become my saving grace.
I had waited 9 months,to meet this little girl..
and my independent life was thrown into a whirle.

I said goodbye to things such as sleep..
begged everyone to not make a peep.
My littlest love...i did not know..
how fun it would be to watch you grow.

Now here you are..growing up so fast,
your cute little ways, how i wish they would last.
Your a big girl now..atleast you think are,
but to me you will always be...My Littlest Star.
