Strong enough to face the day
Dusting off the dreams
Realizing that it's not
As awful as it seems
Finding in yourself a strength
You didn't have before
When you open up
And don't hide anymore.
Touching the new freedom
That comes from being yourself
Take out all the feelings
That you put upon the shelf.
Lies and tears are in the past
It's time to keep them there
It's time to start all over
With a load that you can bear.
It's ok to live again
Though you felt you were dead
So let the past stay in the past
Keep focusing ahead.
