Toutes les roses qui étaient une fois

meurent

lentement un à un je regarde de la chute de pétales

frappant le sol amer

comment triste ils ne remarquent pas

le soleil

quand l'hiver arrive

All the roses that once were

are dying

slowly one by oneI watch petals fall

hitting
bitter ground

how sad they do not notice

the sun

when winter arrives

I had a dream last night
you came to me on silver wings of light
I flew away with you in painted sky
Was it real
Is it what you see, touch or feel

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Lauren, this is beautiful, sweet friend, this made me shed a tear but just like all your gorgeous poetry, it comes from the heart and you know how I love bi-lingual poetry! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

beautiful Lauren.  I don't know anything but some left over high school Spanish, but in whatever language, it is beautiful!  I'm still trying to decipher what you said to me once in French along time ago!  Hugs hon.

What else is there to expect from your poetry, Lauren? As always, it was beautifully written... as for the bilingual aspect of your poem, it completes the poem, btw - I could use a lesson or two in foreign language

as usual you leave me speechless, each
of your poems is like music to my ears,
but you truly floored me with this one!
I'm not sure I write English this well,
let alone a foreign language, and French
to boot! just awesome girlie, no other
words I can say...just awesome!
