The Sage watched with pity as Masius fell exhausted, to his knees "Then take leave, Masius ! Go to the mountains, find yourself For too long, you have chased laughters happiness Albeit with your eyes closed; Counting your herd fastidiously Life's pitied Traveller, keeping score as foolishly, as the Sultan notches up, swelling desire Journey to Peshawar walk the caves of the Khyber Pass See how the moon carves dreams; Marking the rocks of time Then return home, far richer than any man, knowing the echo of his own heart beat Bringing back, laughter on Warlords, who believe they hold life's treasures Greedily bagged in numbers weighting their palms Your smile will light happiness Your heart beating to the tune of enlightenment Go, seek contentment my unhappy friend.... Go............ bring back your soul! Confide in the mountain caves and find your true heart Unmask yourself The Believer; No longer crippled a lost dog, entrusting love's desire to the fragments of bone Chomping on sovereigns testing the truth of gold ! Titch _________________ ~Even the legless caterpillar munching in self contentment Without crutches; crawls, breaking down perceived barriers Fluttering exquisitely poignant that he may taste love's freedom! ~ |

"See how the moon carves dreams; Marking the rocks of time" Whew, titch... I strive for such incredible imagery and it never seems to come. I am enthralled with your apparent ease to do so. Thank you for such a beautiful verse. It beckons me forth into yet another quest for "truth". Love and Light...jc This I know as Truth...we are all Beings of Light. |

A painting by one of the masters perhaps might eclipse this...perhaps not... Well done.. |
