Handcuff

Handcuffs are used for holding hands
folding hands
Cracking hands behind the back
With that "get down on your knees"
gesture. growling

I know of no other safety
no way
To exist without the service
And protection of a few
good men. in blue

Uniforms starched and ready
for action
Figurines with Karate Chop
Capabilities at the push of a
button. trigger

Hammer falls on the anvil
steam plumes
Chugging and churning greasy
Criminals into pens like
steel mills.

and all I want to do is steal.

Yes the brain seems to say no to reason once you have been induced into the police but I have to say this.

I was in Singapore doing Riot Patrol training and we worked on Disney Land in which someone was going to run up to a rioting crowd, throw a 30 yard white tape in front of them and then a banner saying you would be shot if you crossed it would be displayed.

This required any member of the squad to shoot into the crowd whether they were armed or not.

Any member of that squad would have obeyed the instruction to pull the trigger.
