Heart To Heart Framed

I see you framed,
in words I treasure
wanting to expose
for all to see.

Today I feel
yesterdays longings
the knots of holding
your touch on me:
.
.
.
.
.

I could...................send you
a card of fancy......design, and words
written by others to express thoughts of
mine, but I would rather the words, come
straight from my heart, no interference, no
prissy parts, only the feelings, inside that I
hold, treasured....and.......wrapped in my
memories of gold...everyday words and
everyday cares...and...everyday
memories together to share,
I would kiss them
in thoughts
and
breeze
them to you, on
the wings of the wind on
the morning's tears, dew...and if
that doesn't touch...the deep within
you, I will send them in moonbeams to
shine upon two, the one in my heart and the
one I wait for...my touching shall travel...'til it
reaches your door, as it unlocks with key the
treasure that.....hides...as.....my whispering
thoughts leave their imprints to guide when
the...morning...sun rises..with me in your
glance..I'll...be........waiting, I will, to
join you...............in dance.

..and here i was..just about to go to bed..and i had one last look..and there this beauty of a poem!

its lovely enough without the hearts...but you know that the hearts really give great eye candy....

Maureen, this is the most beautiful thing.....
even if it wasn't in the shape of hearts, I
would love the words, but the shape makes it
extra special.

Ethel, actually I wrote this ages ago to show Mark Bohanan that I could make my hearts using periods instead of something else he used when we were all creating pattern poetry. I was reading my old poems and loved this one for valentines day..thought I would bring it to life with a few adjustments. I use to be MMoonchild on here when I first came and some of my favorite poems are from then.
