Leaves skirt across the road
skipping over curbs in a hurry
where do they go in their rush
I wonder.

Scattered before my eyes
perhaps it is natures way to clear the air
surrounded by the beauty
swept up in a taffeta gown.

Blowing across the endless sky
kicking up the wind
gracing the morning
painted blue in the sunlight.

this sounds like you were looking through the window on a quiet day, watching the gentle side of life dancing around....with a cup of cocoa!

this was so pleasant..

love this ones blue reverie bluesygirl...
everything looks better in blue dont it?

In blue,
by the blue,
on the blue,
this is an azure treasure.

Oh, how wonderful! Makes me wish it was fall instead of a land of winter white! hugs, Chris

Lovely, Lori

I watched a tiny left behind leaf skip across the snow the other day, while I was shoveling..I was wondering how it must feel if it could feel, being so all alone and cold.

Warm winter thoughts, Lori

Well, it's still below freezing here but the sun is bright and the sky is blue, so I'm not complaining...for today.
