Her heart wished only
to fly away freely,
as the smallest sparrow does so easily
into expansive blue skies
free of human grief and lies.

But clipped wings grounded her,
and in lieu of lofty flight
her spirit fell

onto deadwood and thorns
in brambled nightmares,
soft sorrowful screams unheard
by nearby ears unwilling
to take time to listen.

And so she fell,
covered with the leaves of despair,
not knowing or believing
there would ever be someone
to care for her heart.

But within the fallen leaves of life,
she did unknowingly nurture
the growth of another,
one who would live to soar
amongst clouds and the blue.

Somehow I see you overcoming and flying free and complete again with the nutured.Love this and the way it can be inturperted in so many ways.Had me thinking of everything from children to lovers.Yes I agree your on a creative roll with us readers the blessed.
