on the way to next world

there is distance in my near voice
pulls away at the essence of many whys
never to know reasons for a celestial choice
placed on continents with the urge to fly...

there is closeness of my breath to you
pushes at a desire for us to remain true
never to the know the length for our short encounters
constantly approaches coastlines but ultimately flounders..
