Being a Teenager

When you think about what love really means,
most people think about marriage and such.
But love means many things to all us teens,
and our love isn't mushy too much.

As teens we love to hang out with our friends,
whether we're at home or out doing stuff.
You have such fun, you dont want it to end,
even when times are a little bit rough.

Then come girls, and you get your first kiss.
You wonder, can it get any better?
The rest of your life, these feelings you'll miss.
Will you feel them again? The same way, never.

But everyone grows up, and life goes on.
Being a teenager was just lifes dawn.

Oh, to feel some of those giddy, wondermus feelings of first discoveries! You described so well here the adolescent growth, unveiling a whirlwind of emotions to be. I really liked your poem!

I must say one thing tho,,,
The first kiss from my Mikey,,,
Was far and away more wonderful , and beautiful, an experience,,than my first teen kiss,,,,,
Sometimes,,,we grow up,,,sometimes, we refuse to lose the feelings of youth,,,
