Auspicious thoughts wrap you in twilight
In the sparkle of a new fallen snow
Reminiscent of laughter once graced
On the wander of distantly so

Sifting feebly into a corner
Where the wind and the rain might duet
As a lace supplicate in it’s drifting
Melted off wishes puddle to wet

How it might be a promise I’ve given
Far endowed to a runaway dream
Yet the memory will not relinquish
That enlivens my heart with each beam

As my soul sees the shadows to covet
In my heart thirsts in magical spells
Kept in rhythms of untouched remember
Every flake pools to make wishing wells

This phrase seems to cast a blanket of hush on the poem, setting your scene so very gracefully. Love that line immensely.
