Quietly I stand beneath the sill of stone cold window nigh. Awaiting a plan, oh yes...I will before the dawn's first cry. As dew does wet the waiting vine before the climb to thee. I stand alone, just one in line, a duet waiting to be. To arms they call into the night upon the sight of my face. Appalled of all, and in such fright... my steps I now retrace. I wait dear heart beyond the moat of waters dark and so deep. To pen of two, a welcome start upon one's climb most steep. I am here....patiently resting, the iron is hot, yet cooling. |

"I stand alone, just one in line, a duet waiting to be." Very nicely penned, Magnus! You've captured the longing and wait beautifully in this. I loved the visuals in the line above. Excellent! Best wishes, /Kit |

Magnus darling man, this is absolutely brilliant writing, you know I’ve always had a fondness for your Knights in waiting there’s no one who writes them better than you do. I’ve not been around here for far too long, but you know why that is, when I do visit, and these days its more often than not the archives, I like to restore my soul by reading the best of the best and that always includes you. Exquisite writing darling man absolutely one of your best. Utterly, utterly, perfect as always Mushy Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |

Happy Turkey Day to all of ya....hope you didn't stuff yourselves as much as the bird? I slammed this out, trying to drum up some duet business...but alas, I still stand beneath the window...my tunic covered in snow and mud...stomach growling from lack of so much as a mere crumb of bread... Sob, sob, sobbbbbbb..... |

Magnus... This is very moving...and, I'm soooo sorry that you're still awaiting your duet. It will come, dear man. (I know these things!) Thank you. Love and Light...jc This I know as Truth...we are all Beings of Light. |

Ye must strike whilst thy iron is hot! If ye shouldst wait much longer, thy iron will cool and be of no good use, m'lord! EA |
