Together,
No need for arms entwined
They toast farewell to
Those desperate paralyzing fears
That cripple minds
Never to be wrung dry
From an abundance of tears
Whose buoyancy once floated
The very substance of
Who they were, and who
Sadly they became.

Together,
A united powerful force
strangles hushed fears
That once were gasped in terror
Sequestering two beautiful souls.

Together,
They raft, holding the other so tight
In their own strength and love
As to keep each fragile heart afloat.

Together,
In time they shall reach new shores
Leaving yesterday behind
Where once only shadows
Of emptiness tred.

Together,
Two sets of hands
Sift each footprint
Knowing they are now behind them
While opening life's canvas
Now laid ready before them.

Together,
Knowing change is immanent,
So infinite to those searching
And now certain to be just
A matter of time.

Beautiful writing -- but I felt a certain sense of sadness with this. I'll toast both of your tomorrows!

(big angel hugs) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is a perfect anthem for the youth of today who are brought upon by so much sorrow and confusion but all will be right, just have to hold on and believe the sun will shine on your shoulders! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
