U Turns Sitting here making U's snipping wire, shaping thin. Why IS IT that old shutters lose the holders of the slats within? Years of age and vacuumed draw have worn and eaten that which holds. Now I sit here making U's bending wire into folds. I guess it seems I'm housebound now 'cause winter keeps me fixin' things. Stoking fires, bending wires, carpet laying, lint that clings. Much to do, my mind list brings interrupted by phone rings... Now back to U's and glue to find, frustration level on the rise. Someday soon, all will be done, until the Spring brings list's revise. yep, today I cleaned the bathrooms (completely!), picked up my dad's junk, did the laundry (our dryer broke!), and then did dishes. If my dad wasn't asleep I could still vacuum. Ahh yes, life.. I do understand! Well said! Take care... Always, Alyssa He was a man of sorrows |

Love your idea of "u" turns. That might be a fun way to look at one's "New Year's Resolutions."  I admire your self-discipline at using the time so constructively. I do that once in awhile, too, but not often enough, methinks.Meknows. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
