Overturned thoughts says a lot About whose we are and what we want We want to live Without any hardships To eat all we want and stay slim and trim To be deny any exercise or just a minute or two But let me look athletic and beautiful too Why do things have to be hard We ought to just be able to get what we want Without all that struggle and wishing You know just see it and get it Don’t prolong my gratification Why eat the cake at all… Just give me the frosting Why should I save – just give I to me now That is what all the advertisers are telling me I don’t need to work hard Just let me rest right here and give me what I want So programmed are we by the marketing hordes That we feel neglected and unloved If everything we want isn’t at our door So what is the answer asked to this old bard Just remember yes always remember Hard stuff is hard!!!! |
