“FOR HARMONY AGAIN”

When loneliness once touches a gentle heart,
and romance takes wing on the breeze,
treasures are lost from deep within,
for darkness shows through the chemise…

Another is then sought of close to cherish,
to give of inner wants, to receive in return,
of the singing of songs and writing of poetry,
for one special, for someone again to yearn…

Once a rose is smelled and without thorns,
and the cherry blossoms bloom in spring,
sometimes showers will fall upon one lost,
for harmony again will be in the offering…

I like the way you implied there could be a happier ending later, too.
