Love if and when or maybe then and see no weight in heart to stabilize and fortify formations on the ground walking, talking, thinking that no one can see you slip into the raging sea of “no one else but me”. Oh, indeed, I swim and feel how good the taste of free but closed to love I cannot breathe the air of certainty. I exit wet, uncomfortable, need clings and shapes my hair unbecoming, listless, flat, until I swim again - and I do, again, again, again, for pleasure comforts me and floats me on the surface of meaningful pursuits. But certainty of love one day overrides and calms dis-ease and fortifies my resolve to breathe beneath the sea while walking, talking, thinking that, I’m just a human being and not a form of energy that remembers loving you! Thanks, Maureen. I'm not here much to comment but I do have a few "favourites" that I always read and you are one of them. An opportunity now to send you best wishes for I understand you are confronted with a most unhappy situation. I wish you strength. |
