The silent winter has been long upon these hearts White out seasons through, it's clench was strong As fate drew us, walking every distant mile to the curb I am with you now, and remain the whispered prayer that holds you Just as the snow, I fall gently to the low and wandered regions Waking sleeping legions that have graced your dreams through mine Underscoring this adoring, perseverance that is more than known before I am with you now, as every heartbeat bears the promise of this eager kiss Unrushed the river calms, ever watchful holding on in upturned palms And open arms that quiver to surround your every sound As darkness in not absent of the light, only sleepless in anticipations rite For you glow within the pleasure of a warm and willing need And I am with you now, Seeking only sunshine for this love's eternal seed Copyright Kkh 1/7/04 |
