Once someone has been hurt it is so hard for that person to trust again completely to trust in another one No matter how much the other one is worthy and deserves to be trusted doubts keep showing their ugly head Creeping up through the channels of the mind is the doubt and fear Crawling like a creature from the dark into your mind Why is this..... why can't the past be the past nevermore to enter into the mind again Leaving room for the present and the future...... Leaving space for complete and total trust....... without reservation...... |

I know this all to well, and I think the first time you can forgive but the next time..and next...you know there is a pattern and this is who they are and 9 times out of ten..they will do it again... If they break the trust once and learn from their mistakes and behaviors change...then maybe it can be restored...but it is hard..as long as you have a mind and memories you can't forget unless you have amnesia or death... I have been through this and forgave..worked it all out and tried to forget...but you know what I got in return?......I got lied to again..and again.. It is now hard for me to trust anybody at all! Great thoughts of life! ~ARH I hope your not going through this...it is torture of ones heart and mind.... Open your eyes, open your mind, open your heart, let me come in and show you love.....~ARH |

 boy can i relate to this... it's so hard to let go after you've been hurt... and even though you know that the person may not deserve to not be trusted.. it's still so hard...Thanks for sharing... Gave me some peace.... |

I do know eventually one thing has to go, the fear or the person you are afraid of releasing all your reservations for. The two can't reside healthily together. I've been there, and now, am so cleansed of that angst since I trusted again. Trust your heart to know when to trust again! McLean |

 (big hugggsssssss) Oh Ethel, once when reading through my favorite digest, the Catholic Digest, I read an article on how Jesus wants us to trust unconditionally and that He expects sometimes we may be smitten with deceit but out of it is how we develop strength and courage and when we trust again it becomes soldified! (smiles) My heart goes out to all those hurt and I pray they take the courage and use it onward, God Bless You, we all love you so much!
