Saying those words
it hurt me to say
it taught me one thing
no other words will bring you back
you left that day
toke the keys to my heat and locked me away

You broke my heart
like it was glass
the pain felt natural
I was hurt, so I hid
your gentle eyes
have gone morbid

how could a sweet thing like you
do such a thing
saying I love you
is all you have to do
to make me stay
and be with you.
