The time of routine The cold walks to Hell The same setting made of obscene Backs me up against a tree like William Tell Storm of Weapons Clashing in the wind A bitter defeat in the beginning It started as an end I fell and died, in the Battle of Odin The bell rapes my ears The tree of soles drags me down the hall Everyday is what I fear Before I climb out of slumber, prepare myself to fall. Weapons of Earth! All will fear! I bring them to my hearth Soon they will all disappear! Slaughter dew Pasted on the chairs Grinning at my world made of new They continue to die in pairs Stories tell my rhyme All having a brutal end A moment held in time To Hell and back again The cycle takes it's dreary toll I am bored with all that is dead It is time, i want to go home I am tired, and I have bled It has been a war It is taking place the Tempest Season Tomorrow again, I will have to endure The killings for everything but reason. I clad my way home The Helm of Sudri has grown dark The silent sea foams Another journey I must embark Forever in a day The night is gone It went by without say and tomorrow will be just as long |

You said a bunch here -- the humdrum of unsatisfying work, for one, I presume, as the least of the statements you made here. And I think there is some truth to forever being in a day. Interesting poem and I enjoyed reading it. |
