He was the mushroom and she was the queen she was the good one or so she thought but when she looked in the mirror she saw a monster. Worship her he spoiled her and she cannot help but indulge herself If the answer to every question is yes, then what? where do you go from there? She gave away her love to easily, for free and asked nothing in return but her expectations those stupid expectations why did she think he would love her, really, truly in return? she found the world in another's eyes and she can't help but wonder if she's too broken to try again. |

Allysa, I thought the same thing...until my wonderful Honey-Love came along. Hope she finds hers soon. Hugs Ethel |

This poem has bite and really gets its point across. I especially like the ending. By the way, there is always hope to be loved. We just need to sometimes break down our walls and find who we are. By respecting ourselves, that is the first step. |

You balanced the intimacy very subtly. If fits together nicely. Dave |

My walls are made of something more than steel. I do not think they could be broken. Thank you, very much everyone. |

I liked this. Great emotion and a good question at the end, I hope she is not to broken for no one deserves to live without love. Nicely done. ~Live and Laugh~ Because of you I laugh a little harder, smile a little more, and cry a little less |
