Sorry Officer I didn’t see you
On my car bonnet
Your dog
On my windscreen as well

Cleaning it thoroughly
The weather is hell
Yes I thought the wipers were looking a bit thick
But it looks happy and it does like your stick

Yes I took the corner
A race
Are you sure
Gone with no trace

No I don’t ever look
At those cars behind
It unnerves me
Crossing the road all the time

No I wasn’t on fire
Or a cabby on speed
Chased up the jungle
Or direly in need

I normally drive at a very quiet pace
The corner in fifth
I was aiming for third
Yes the grating
I’m sure you heard

Your suit is unusual
But the cut is divine
Rips seemed tailored
And coloured like wine

You giving me a ticket
Just give me a second
There’s one hanging
Off my car

But it's in the wrong direction
