And I tie my heart onto my sleeve Leave it there for you to see Will you break it take it away Or will you love me anyway I never thought to do you wrong Only sought to love you And I did, all along But you never knew 'Cause I could not seem to tell you I could not say those forsaken words I was afraid of what they meant Yet I knew deep inside In my heart and in my mind That my life could never be the same Had I never heard your name Had I never spoken to you My life would have continued its dark hue But I can see something I never thought to find And I just can't seem to mind When you say you love me 'Cause that's the only way it should be When you twist around to see the past you're missing your chance to glimpse the future. |

"'Cause that's the only way it should be" This line sums it up really, beautiful simplicity, yet 'should' and are seem poles apart sometimes |

Thanks. I still am dreadfully confused about all this...It's all so confusing! But I hope I can figure it out eventually. When you twist around to see the past you're missing your chance to glimpse the future. |
